Monday Motivation

It's Monday! I hope everyone has had a great weekend full of both rest and adventures. I know that some people absolutely dread Monday mornings. Monday is the end of the weekend which is always a bummer. However, it's also the start of a brand new week! Let's start this week off with some motivation and encouragement. Quotes are one of my favorite things in the whole world. I believe that there is truly a quote for everything. I've been wanting to share some of my favorite quotes for quite some time and I figured that it was the perfect time to do it. Here we go!

"We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of people we meet on the way. Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it."

"I wish you the courage to be warm when the world would prefer that you be cool. I wish you success sufficient to your needs; I wish you failure to temper that success. I wish you joy in all your days; I wish you sadness so that you may better measure joy. I wish you gladness to overbalance grief. I wish you humor and a twinkle in the eye. I wish you glory and the strength to bear its burdens. I wish you sunshine on your path and storms to season your journey. I wish you peace in the world in which you live and the smallest corner of the heart where truth is kept. I wish you faith to help define your living and your life. More I cannot wish you except perhaps love to make all the rest worthwhile." -Robert A. Ward

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can learn to appreciate them when they're right. And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." -Marilyn Monroe

"Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle." -Jon Acuff

"We are reminded how short life really is, and how we are just passing through. So, all the people you haven't told you love lately, tell them, and live your days like you mean it." -Hal Sutton

"You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage - pleasantly, smilingly, non-apologetically - to say 'no' to other things. And the way to do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside." -Stephen Covey

"Don't forget to fall in love with yourself first." -Carrie Bradshaw

"You know, all that really matters is that the people you love are happy and healthy. Everything else is just sprinkles on the sundae." -Paul Walker

"If you're reading this... Congratulations, you're alive. If that's not something to smile about, then I don't know what is." -Chad Sugg

"Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale." -Hans Christian Andersen

"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other." -Audrey Hepburn

"More than she was known for her accomplishments, she was known for the way she loved." -Morgan Harper Nichols

"Be the reason someone feels welcomed, seen, heard, valued, and supported."

"With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?" -Oscar Wilde

"Confidence isn't walking into a room and thinking you are better than everyone; it's walking in and not having to compare yourself to anyone at all."

"Be passionate and be involved in what you believe in, and do it as thoroughly and honestly and fearlessly as you can." -Marie Colvin

"I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people." -Vincent van Gogh

"She is classy, she is kind, she is secure and she is threatened by no-one! Which is why she is so quick to cheer others on, promote others, forgive quickly and help them shine." -Carl Lentz

"Never obsess about chasing love. Chase goals. Chase dreams. Chase the behaviors that are going to make you better. You don't chase love; you allow that to find you by accident, and when it finds you on accident, you'll know that it was supposed to find you purposely." -Sylvester McNutt III

"If all girls were taught how to love each other fiercely instead of how to compete with each other and hate their own bodies, what a different and beautiful world we would live in." -Nikita Gill

"Sunshine all the time makes a desert."

"Do what you can with the time and talents that you have at this present moment."

"Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't." -Bill Nye

"Bad news is: You cannot make people like, love, understand, validate, accept or be nice to you. You can't control them either. Good news is: It doesn't matter."

"I wish you sidewalk pennies on bad days and the unfailing sense that things are just going to work out."

"The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." -Dolly Parton

"Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny." -C.S. Lewis

I hope that you all have a wonderful week! Hopefully one of these quotes inspired you or maybe even opened your eyes to a brand new possibility. Life is what we make it. We are all currently living our best lives. 🦋
