Happy March!
Isn’t it crazy that it’s already March? I feel like most of us are still processing last March! A new month means new beginnings, adventures, and new goals. A new month is sort of a mini fresh start. We all say “maybe next year” or “I want to do that soon”. But why wait? It’s the perfect time to start chasing your dreams and doing what makes you happy. My advice would be to try to set one major goal for yourself this month. What’s something you’ve always wanted to do? Or what’s a mini goal that will put you one step closer to achieving a major goal? I find that journaling always helps me put things into perspective. I always try and keep track of my goals. It helps keep me accountable and it’s also really fun to look back on the growth and achievement that’s occurred.
Do you need some ideas or inspiration? Start by looking at yourself. Are you taking care of yourself to the best of your ability? Here’s some goals to try regarding self-love and self-care:
Prioritize your sleep! Make sure you’re getting enough sleep each and every night.
Drink water! If you carry around a reusable eco-friendly water bottle it’ll make it easier to achieve your hydration goals.
Learn a new skill! Try something that you’ve always wanted to try. Be bold! Be brave!
Organize your living space. There’s nothing like a clean space for a fresh start.
Write down three things you’re grateful for every single day! This takes less than five minutes and it really improves your mood. It’s important to always be thankful and grateful.
Read more books! It’s hard to make time for reading if you’ve got a busy schedule. Try reading instead of scrolling through social media first thing in the morning or before you go to bed!
Get a little bit of sunshine each day! The sun has so many benefits for our health. Even if it’s just a quick five minutes!
Make your bed every day right when you wake up! This is such a simple goal but it will truly make all the difference.
Surround yourself with people who build you up! Quantity over quality is a true statement when it comes to choosing our friends. Surround yourself with positive, encouraging, and kind friends.
Try to cook more for yourself! Try a new recipe at least once a week. Cooking at home is better for your health and it is a great way to save money!
